In my desperation to find a remote job as a freelancer, I entered Upwork and signed up. I was looking for something simple to start like transcribing texts from pfd to ms word. There were many and I was excited. The suspicions began when they contacted me outside the mentioned platform, arguing differences with the commissions they paid. They sent me a form with different levels of work but I had to pay a fee of $82 (dollars) beforehand. My ignorance aside, I paid and they sent me the job. After 4 days of hard work, I sent the finished work, even receiving congratulations for the results ... how cynical. When it was time to pay, the big problems began. There was a $250 fee to link their Citibank account to mine at Skrill. TOTAL LIE!!! Even dumber than me who paid for it. ,,, without words... then, all [removed by editor] dialogue with the "cashier" of the company. Blah, blah, blah.. and without receiving payment. The desperation began... and the worst comes now... I went directly to the page alphatechs.online, with the same chat explaining my problem in detail, with his pseudonym "Loudres Lobin" he was all ears, I told him my story and all embarrassed she made me register on the page (another $50.- paid), and then she made me see that they appeared in my account, logging in with username and password, $1700 as part of the work + fee refunds. I said, this is serious, thank you!!! Noooo, how well done the scam !!! Now you had to pay a new fee, otherwise you didn't get paid... you didn't have any more money. I told him and he gave me the alternative of withdrawing my money in cryptos with a cheaper fee. And even dumber for me, I paid another $41. Once this was done, and with nothing else to ask me, they stopped responding and prevented me from accessing their fraudulent platform. PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!!! Greetings.
