Bookings are misleading, information is inaccurate and rental process was not at all what we expected.

We flew in at 12 am to our destination with a confirmed 1 am rental pick up time. The actual rental counter only operated from 6 am to 11 pm which was never indicated through the EconomyBooking process.<br />

My family of 6, who were more than prepared to move on with our trip, had to "camp out" over 5 hours at the airport before being able to speak to the actual counter person. We were then informed the insurance we purchased through EconomyBookings[removed by editor] was not valid with them and would have cost us an additional $1,000 which we were not expecting.<br />

So where the money spent on EconomyBookings insurance actually goes to is beyond us and seems like another way to scam money out of the consumer.<br />

At that point we were beyond frustrated and wanted to cancel. Then the website representative on the phone told us there was nothing we could do because we were beyond the cancelation period and no refund would be issued.<br />
<br />
We were aware of and agreed to the cancelation policy and had no problem abiding to the stipulations. We assumed everything was legit leading up to the point of actually picking up the vehicle when all the problems occurred.<br />

Had we been given a better idea of how everything was going to happen we would have cancelled well withing the designated period, but finding out when we actually got there gave us NO TIME to abide by the rules. Had we known there would be issues we would have never booked through EconomyBookings[removed by editor] initially.<br />

At that point we had no choice but to dispute the charges with our credit card company which EconomyBookings successfully countered by showing the agreed to cancelation policy as evidence.<br />
<br />
We then reached out to EconomyBookings via email directly pleading our case. They received the message and an auto reply indicated that a decision would be made within 28 days. That was over a month ago and is the reason we are writing this review as there has been no resolution!<br />
<br />
We will never use nor will we ever recommend the use of EconomyBookings[removed by editor] for any booking purposes and let anyone know who is even considering using this site to use extreme caution because there processes seem very corrupt, deceiving and geared to ripping people off.
