2.I reserved a six-hour bus from the Colombo bus station to the Nuwara Eliya bus station. However, when I arrived at the bus station on the day of travel, I was placed on a large local bus that looked very different from the medium-sized tourist bus shown in the booking photo. The local bus was quite run-down, with worn-out headrests on the seats. Moreover, the tourist bus was supposed to depart at 10:00, but the local bus left at 11:00. When I contacted the transfer company, they just said, "We simply changed it. What's the problem?" Although local buses are usually cheaper, I received no refund and was treated with a complete lack of hospitality.
3.I canceled another section of the journey. Since I canceled over 24 hours before departure, there were no cancellation fees, and I was told the full amount would be returned to my bank. However, instead of a refund, I was sent a voucher by email, which must be used within six months. I don’t plan on traveling again within six months, so what is the purpose of the supposed "100% refund policy"?
