I ordered parts with ML Performance, all of which were noted as 'in stock' on their website. 2 days later they came back to advise of a 2-month lead time on one of the parts. I asked for this to be removed and proceed with the rest of the 'ready' order.

Despite their mistake, they asked for a shipping fee since this put me below their usual free shipping value. I thought this was cheeky but quickly complied to get things moving.

I waited for dispatch notification and eventually it had been 10 days since my initial order, so I asked for a status update. I was told a new excuse about moving warehouses, and also that the previous customer service agent had left the company.

Does it sound like a reputable business I'm describing at this point? It's more like a scam operation really.

In the best case (1) these guys advertise below market costs and swindle you while they wait months for parts to come from abroad, or (2) they are outright scamming hoping that people lose hope or forget about their orders. Just look up other customer reviews! A competitor I ordered from to get my parts also said they receive a lot of fed-up victims in a hurry to actually place a real order...
Avoid!
