Google offered Billabook after I searched for a specific resort. Tried to make a reservation, but got the message that the credit card was declined(MBNA) So I entered an RBC credit card which was also rejected. I then feared a scam so decided to wait to contact the resort by phone. Next day got a text message from MBNA card that said Fraud alert, Billabook tried to claim $1234.90 but MBNA had blocked the charge.
So if Billabook sent a message that card was declined, how or why did they then try to process the charge?
Note also, Billabook charges in US funds even though the resort and I are in Canada.
