I'll take the blame for being gullible, but Pentagonfit presented themselves quite well as being Amazon doing a customer survey; for completing the survey, the reward was a set of wireless Bluetooth earbuds and all one had to do was pay shipping of $7.97. So I did it. Last week, after almost a month, I received the earbuds. I powered them on but haven't had time to use them. Today, a charge appeared on my bank account from them in the amount of $9.97. I looked up their original email which included the order for the earbuds and the price was a "Grand Total" of $7.97. I called their phone number three times, was on hold for several minutes, and each time was disconnected. Then I read the second page of the email, after the "Order," which I'd thought was just more sales hype because it lists numerous products and discounts. Well, at the bottom, in the P.P.S. (there are 3), it says "Don't forget that after 30 days, we know you'll love your Home Shopping Club access and all of the amazing benefits it offers, so we'll continue to bill your card on file for just the discounted membership price of $9.97 . . . " Gee whiz, what a deal. Without any permission whatsoever from me, but they have my debit card number. I won't make the same mistake again.
