They create profiles on dating websites (mostly okcupid) with catfished photos of beautiful, wealthy Chinese women and then they try to approach men and ask for their [removed by editor] almost directly. When you start communicating with them, they usually delete the dating profile and start the romance. The process can be very slow and all to look quite normal. The starting point is the moment when the "girl" tells you that she has a finance degree and is making investments. Over the next few days, as the victim and the "girl" exchange photos, the victim begins to believe that the girl is a traumatized daughter of a wealthy family. The story can be anything that might look like a serious justification to subconsciously convince the victim that she is incapable of making a video call due to psychological trauma. And that you should never ask for it.
After the "girl" has established a "trust relationship" with the victim, she asks the victim in a very cute and polite way to invest any amount of money with her, even a very small one, to show her trust in the relationship you are building together. She gives one of the following websites: neweraiscoming.cloud, neweraiscoming.live, neweraiscoming.online, neweraiscoming.shop, neweraiscoming.info, etc. and makes up a story that it's an exchange platform for the crypto primary market. If things get a little tricky at that point, she won't pressure the victim. But a few days later, she will say in a very discreet way that the platform belongs to her father and that she will not let you lose your money and that she wants to find a person to take over her father's business. In the next step, she asks you to prepare your USDT because there is a "bitcoin node contract" coming the next day and this is a good time for you to see what it is all about.
In other cases, she advises the victim to invest in coins that haven't gone public yet and she promises big gains in the very near future. When you ask her to explain to you what the primary market is or what these coins are about, she says that they are bitcoin contracts and coins/tokens of a private sale exclusively within this exchange platform. The whole thing can get very dangerous if they find out that victim has money or even an already established crypto portfolio. Especially if the victim provides personal details by uploading KYC papers to their "exchange" platform.
