This is the second review I write in regards to incidents that happened to us during our trip to Egypt booked through Logitravel Ireland. The company sent us a list of 5 stars hotels and 5 stars cruises that they could allocate to us, however our
cruise was changed one day before the trip for another one that was not in that list with clearly an inferior category that in our opinion and the rest of the 20 or 30 members of the group didn't reach 2 or 3 stars. The floor was broken in some parts, stained and old furniture, holes on the bed because there were supports missing under the mattress, the Aircon was not working, the ceiling of our cabin was falling in some parts, there was a very strong smell of paint and additionally Smell of Petrol during the first night that made it impossible to stay in the cabin, it's a shame we can't post pictures. We asked to be moved to another cabin but there was not availability, we used the 24 hours chat to raise a complaint and the answer was that the local representative would contact us to assist us but nobody whatsoever got in touch with us regarding this issues. The whole group agreed that it was not fair to charge us for a 5 stars accommodation with the conditions described and even some of them considered legal action. In contrast, the five stars Hotel allocated to us for the last three days in Cairo was wonderful, very modern, comfortable, very well located, amazing facilities and amenities, great customer service and good value for money.
