Scammers! I went really far in the process with these guys. I always felt that something seemed a little off, then they would convince me that everything was legit. After several months of walking this process, they scheduled a call with the
"reviewing officer" with the USTPO. I was on the call for 48 minutes because I kept asking many questions. I was being told that unless I paid about $10,000 that our application would be forfeited and I could never again apply for the trademark. I was told that someone else wanted our name and that was the reason that it was costing so much. All of the fees were broken down to attestations in all 50 states with a fee for each state and two specimens, each with a fee. I was sent a letter from trademark viser that was supposedly from the USTPO office. I was going to walk away, but they kept on. Trying to convince me that someone else was applying for our name and we would have to shut our business down if we didn't move forward. Today is the last day that I have this opportunity. I looked up the USTPO office and called and actually spoke to a live person. She told me this is all incorrect. In fact, my application has been flagged because of the type of email address that the representative with trademark viser uses. This company has already got $3200 from me. I am reporting them and will do my best to [removed by editor] this money. They've gone to a lot our trouble to convince me. The number of the alleged USTPO representative that I spoke with had the right area code. It all seemed legit, except for the pressure to make an immediate decision and the exuberant cost. But, they broke it down to make me consider that it was legit. This is a well oiled company that is no doubt scamming people for a great amount of money.
