I'm reaching out to share a recent experience with Resume.io and to gather if anyone has encountered something similar. My initial interaction with the service was straightforward – I paid $2.95 to download my CV in PDF format, believing this was
a one-time transaction.

However, to my surprise, I was automatically charged an additional $25 for a premium subscription seven days later, a transition I was not made explicitly aware of at the time of purchase. Upon noticing this charge and contacting Resume.io for clarification, I received the following response:

Hi Denys,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We appreciate your understanding and want to confirm that your account has been successfully cancelled. As mentioned in our pricing details and reiterated during the 7-day trial payment process, the trial automatically converts to a monthly plan if not cancelled within the initial 7 days.

Since your account is already cancelled, you won't incur any further charges. You can continue to enjoy the benefits of the premium plan until the expiration date of your remaining premium days, which you can find in your account settings. After that period, your account will seamlessly transition to our free plan.

Kind Regards,
I was under the impression that the $2.95 fee was a one-time charge for the PDF download, and I was not expecting to be enrolled in a monthly subscription service
