I ordered four of the ArticAngel gifts for Daughter/Son as sentimental Christmas gifts for my grown children. When they arrived, I was immediately disappointed that the inscription in each box was printed on flimsy card stock. Nowhere on the Artic
Angel website was any mention of the material used. Further, the edges of 3 of the 4 mahogany boxes were scraped due to inadequate packaging.<br />
When I tried to get the attention of customer service, all I could find was an e-mail address [removed by editor] that bounced messages back as a non-existent address. I eventually found a different email address by scouring the internet. When I explained my dissatisfaction, ArticAngel offered to reprint the card stock and replace the boxes. I requested a full refund which they at first refused, but after additional emails insisting on full refund, they then indicated they would do so after I shipped the items back at my own expense. This differs from their website's 100% satisfaction guarantee that states they will gladly refund the full price and also cover the shipping.<br />
It was clear to me that getting my money back was likely to be a battle so instead, I took the flimsy cards to a local trophy shop and had them reproduced on aluminum. The trophy shop also touched up the scrapes on the boxes. It cost me an additional $100 but in the end, I was able to get these gifts up to a decent level of quality versus having to fight with Artic Angel for my refund.<br />
For certain, I will not be purchasing anything from them again.
