Their tactic:
1) You respond to one of their FB ads, they'll get you to send over a deck - you'll feel completely fine
2) One person calls himself an MD and [removed by editor]/TG you, asking you for an interview over WA/TG (they never show their
face)

3) Another MD will call you for 2nd interview
--> Each interview lasts 60 mins

4) You'll pass the interview, and they'll say they'd start sourcing for funding for you. They'll also ask for "Success fees" (completely normal but hang on...)

5) Within a few weeks, they'll give you a couple of offers. You accept. They do the Term Sheet, DD. You'll pass DD. That's where the scheme will come

6) They'll ask you to get a Banker's Guarantee to guarantee the Success fee. Note: Likelihood you can't get a BG because banks would require you to hold the exact amount with them (e.g. if Success fee is 500k, you'll need to deposit 500k with the bank for the bank to issue BG)

7) You can't get BG, they'll ask you for 10% or so upfront. They'll ask you to contribute to part of it, in the form of BTC (red flag - since you can't trace)

8) You have no choice but to oblige. Once you've paid them, they'll issue the required legal docs, but they won't sign it (they'll tell you they'll sign it when they wire the money)

9) Fun starts: Lots of last minute drama, from internal strife to bank issues, they'll give you lots of excuses, delaying you up to 2-3 months.

10) You lost hope but you won't get your money back. And they'll use one of the excuses to cancel your deal
