Below is the statement I sent to the NC Department of Justice per their request for this company being a scam. If you do a little digging you can find others who have been scammed by this company too.
"A business broker reached out to me about
buying Bitbox ATM machines because I told him I was looking for<br />
businesses that generate passive income. I spoke with the Bitbox rep and during his sales pitch he said they do not<br />
make money unless we (the investor) make money and that Bitbox handles all marketing campaigns for every ATM<br />
machine, repairs, software updates, refilling the machines and negotiating terms with store owners to install the crypto<br />
ATMs into their stores. Also, they said I could remotely view how the machines are doing from my computer and if<br />
there are ever any issues with a machine. He said the average time to make back your investment was around 17<br />
months and they would be happy to buy back the machines if I ever wanted to sell them.<br />
Because the ATMs are located in other states I can not just drive by and check on them. Two are located in Florida and<br />
one in Arizona so I am completely at the mercy of Bitbox International doing what they said over the phone and what is<br />
in their contract we signed. Fast forward almost a year and the three machines I purchased have generated zero<br />
transactions. One of the machines in Florida I know has been out of order for several months because I had a friend in<br />
Florida drive by to make sure they were in the store. I notified Bitbox multiple times about this since October 20, 2022<br />
and they have done nothing to repair that machine. I was also told by Bitbox customer service my three machines<br />
needed software updates back in September and as of today those updates have not been done which means I can not<br />
tell if they are operational or out of order.<br />
After speaking with other Bitbox investors I found online it appears this company may be running a scam. I discovered<br />
the people that invented and built the machines are no longer the owners, which makes me wonder if the new owners<br />
even know how to repair the machines. This Crypto currency company needs to be investigated asap before this<br />
company scams other investors out of their hard earned money.<br />
PS: One thing you will notice in the email chains I attached is they say they are starting a marketing campaign soon<br />
once I start complaining to get me to back off. Then they never run any marketing campaigns. That happens multiple<br />
times over several months and buys them time. They also mention on October 24th and several other times they are<br />
updating my machines software, and that never happens.<br />
