SCAM by EZCryptoplace
I tried to open an account on the 8th January with KontoFX, filled in all the pages that came up and at the point of entering the amount of £250 something odd happened and I could not complete the form but submitted it none
the less. The following morning had a phone call from a broker, Helen Stein. To cut a long story short I was scammed by EZCryptoplace but I didn’t realise that was the case until 2 days later. EZC had somehow obtained my mobile number, but how??? It had to be via KontoFX…but how is this possible. The matter is under investigation.
I told KontoFX via numerous emails that I am now not interested in continuing to invest with them and since the account is not even activated would they kindly refund me £250, which I received today.

Further more, one may not realise one has been scammed until the very moment one decides to withdraw some of ones funds.
Than, all of a sudden it will turn out this is not possible, as your right to withdraw will depend on some minimum trade volume requirement, linked to a trading bonus you have so carelessly accepted. EZC agreed to pay out some of the profit but at what cost; they suggested I pay 17% brokers commission first before they could pay me. Have you ever heard anything so outrageous?

I know that firms and individuals can only conduct regulated financial services activities in the UK if they are authorised by FCA or registered to do so. Yet some act without their authorisation or knowingly run scams.
