I've had a miner with them for a couple of years. According to my Braiins payout chart, it was offline for (I estimate) 50% of the past 12 months. HALF!!
A BTC miner has an extremely limited shelf life as the power of competing machines goes
up[removed by editor]pas had ONE JOB - keep my machine up and mining.
I can accept a day or two... or a week ... of downtime a year, but SIX MONTHS??

Absolute and utter fail.

EDIT: I spoke with a friend of mine who has half a dozen miners with them. His experience is similar to mine. Apparently (I can't confirm this) the issue is that the Compass sales team have been selling more miners than they have rack space for. They're happy to take your money to sell you a machine, but there's no guarantees that they'll actually have it online!

Also, they have this 'credit' system which is farcical. If I understand it correctly, this is how it works. Let's say that your miner is offline in March because there's no rack space[removed by editor]pass will still charge you for March, however they'll issue you a credit to cover it, so you pay with the credit. There's no 'compensation' as such for them not hosting - they just won't charge you hosting for that month. Meanwhile, your miner is gathering dust and aging.

To repeat myself, I can't over-emphasise what a disappointment this company has been. They've just shown greed and, honestly, contempt for me as a customer.
