I purchased a hoverboard via online store for my daughters birthday. When I called to confirm dispatch by express post I was advised that warehouse stock had been stolen and the order could not be fulfilled and would be cancelled/refunded. I then ordered an alternative product from another supplier in anticipation of a refund. BUT the very next day the order was dispatched and the cancellation was not actioned (and no attempt to contact me to advise if the change). It was very time consuming and frustrating to arrange for a return label. Eventually it was provided and the product returned (and confirmed with tracking) but Hoveroo only selectively return emails, ignores phone calls to resolve it so now 1 month later I am now $300 out of pocket and without the product! Terrible customer service, a very negative experience and I will be following up with the relevant consumer regulatory authorities and my bank. I have been very patient and given them many opportunities to resolve without resorting to this adverse action and bad publicity/ reviews.
