I was sent a defective tablet, it has multiple technical issues. I finally got through to tech support. They had me run all kinds of time consuming tests on it & document everything. TWO MONTHS they made me jump through hoops, & completely ignored most of my concerns & the few they did address, they skirted the issue & claimed it was "normal" or "almost normal". The worst thing is the battery life, they promise reMarkable can be used for days on end without needing to be recharged. That is a total false claim, one that I proved. It barely lasts for 24 hours. It also freezes up, shuts off all by itself & doesn't connect to Wi-fi half the time. Actually, their customer service is the worst, after all the red tape & patronizing comments, they told me they are doing me some great favor by allowing me to get a refund. It's being sent back Monday, but the whole delivery service they insist on using is just another nightmare. They're a rude, unhelpful, unprofessional & chaotic company, sneakily using packaging companies in China, they do NOT live up to their guarantees & make you feel like everything is your fault. I filed a complaint with my CC & will with the BBB & Consumer Protection Agency. What a waste of time & money! Could be a great product, but it's not, & it's run by an even worse company! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
Ordered a wig & other accessories for my mother, the package was missing one of the accessories & they have ignored our emails about it.
**** But the WORST thing, my mother got a call today from her CC company, apparently there was a $14.95 charge on her card yesterday from them. She was told by the agent that whenever they see a "Paula Young" charge, especially for that exact amount, they red-flag it & contact the owner of the CC. Guess Paula Young is notorious for these scam charges all the time. They're often not reported because they are on CC's of their own customers who recently did make purchases from them, probably appearing to be a legit charge, & because it’s such a small amount it goes unnoticed. So they get away with most of these fraudulent charges! They got caught this time, but they need to be known for their underhanded tricks! STAY AWAY FROM PAULA YOUNG!!! & If you're a past customer, check your statements! According to the credit card companies, they do this a LOT!
