Live auctioneers is allowing for fraudulent sellers to sell on their site, while taking no responsibility for these sellers. Like EBAY, they too should be held responsible for the deception and fraud occurring daily on their site. This certain instance is directly related to their seller, PAPPS FAMILY LIQUIDATIONS. I RECEIVED A CHEAP FAKE KNOCKOFF OF THE ACTUAL PHOTOThe photo of the Sapphire & Diamond Ring I purchased is not the item they sent, which is a cheap poorly done knockoff. Falsely advertised & Fraudulent. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The item I received has a smooth golden band, not beveled as in the photos of the ring on the "authentication card" and the listing. The sapphire in the photos and the "authentication card" is delicately held by the gold prongs almost like a claw, however, the one I received is pressed right up against the gold band with a thick flat wrap. The diamonds in the photo and on the "authentication card" are visible, the diamonds on the ring I received a[removed by editor]ed by the gold and not visible. The sapphire in the photo and the "authentication card" has different angled cuts, and the one I received has a blunt cut. The item was purchased on Jan 1, 2020, It was received on January 25, 2020. The payment amount was $99, including shipping. I am seeing MANY additional reviews about this company with the same experience, so they are repeatedly defrauding consumers.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The company responds to the buyers who are smart enough to know they were ripped off by stating they "sent the wrong item". Not by mistake of course. They are making a business of defrauding consumers/customers. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------See this response: Papps Family Liquidation on Jan 27, 2020 "Hi D, From the looks of your situation, it seems that you have received the incorrect item. if you could please send us photos at [removed by editor] so that we may see these discrepancies we can definitely help resolve this situation. Thank you, Jack" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So I happily emailed them, and it has got me nowhere. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My response on Mon, Feb 10, 4:44 PM to Papps: "I want an update on the issue and my full refund, where you posted a photo of a ring, and sent a completely different ring than the photo and the ring on the authentication card. Review your records.", and again on Mon, Feb 10, 4:49 PMto Papps: "I have filed a fraud complaint with the BBB, Live Auctioneers, and Amex. You have had plenty of time to resolve this."------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Papps response on Mon, Feb 10, 5:13 PM: "Hi D, You can return it for a refund. Thank you, Jack" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Of course I DO NOT trust this company whatsoever, and I'm not putting another penny into their pockets by paying to mail their knockoff ring back, so I responded on Wed, Feb 12, 7:22 AMto Papps: "Please send a prepaid return label. Also, confirm you will be issuing a refund in the amount of: $99 USD to my American Express."------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ NO RESPONSE. So I wrote them again on Wed, Mar 4, 10:50 AM (4 days ago) "I am still waiting for your response." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- They have done this to many consumers/buyers. They are a fraudulent company. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!
