I bought an e sim of 30 GB for 30 days for Indonesia using the 3 network. It worked well the first week I stayed in North Sumatra. Then I went to the island of Nias, where it stopped working. I contacted Mobimatter and we found out that 3 network is not covering Nias. At this point I had only used 8 GB out of the 30 GP. Mobimatter does not provide any information about the areas covered or not covered by the 3 network in Indonesia. I asked Mobimatter for a refund, since I will stay a month in Nias and will not be able anymore to use the rest of the data. But they always declined, using weird excuses like "As it says in the product description it will only work with '3' network. Where there is no network, there will be no internet. You have already used 8GB of the package. The operator will not approve a refund for that much usage. Even for this amount used, the price is still cheaper than you can find in the market. Once you move to a different area the package will work again." I think this is a really bad customer service and already goes into scam, since they do not take responsibility for failed service. As I said, nowhere in there description is to be read that there are areas which are not covered by the 3 network.
