I clicked on an Instagram link to buy a heavily discounted hair styler but never received it. What I got instead was an email from this website ( not the one that I placed the order with) telling me that I was now a 'gold' member. I contacted their
customer service straight away and was told that I had purchased a membership to buy products on their website. No record of the hair styler ordered. I asked to cancel the membership, they said ok but there's a 14 days 'notice period' ie they can still charge you for 14 days. I demanded a full cancellation but they kept referring to their terms and conditions and telling me to read my contract policy. I ended up calling my bank, which told me that the safest thing to do would be to cancel my debit card used for payment and wait to receive a new one. This is the only way to make sure that payments to them stop. Be very careful and steer clear of this website.
