On the 09/08/2023 I purchased an item off Stockland Marketplace. The receipt indicated that the item would be dispatched in 24-72 hours. On the 14/08/2023 I followed up if the item had been dispatched as I had not heard anymore. On the 15/08/2023 I
received a reply from Stockland that the item would be sent “by the latest tomorrow”. On the 16/08/2023 I received further communication that the item was actually out of stock and they would receive more stock on the 22/08/2023 and which time the item will be immediately sent. On the 23/08/2023 I emailed to ask if it had been sent and received no reply. I sent a further email on 28/08/2023 and received a reply that the supplier would contact me directly which they didn’t. I sent further emails on the 30/08/2023, 31/08/2023, 03/09/2023 and 08/09/2023. I finally received further communication on the 08/09/2023 that they did not know when they would receive the stock in. Today (12/09/2023) I received a phone call that my order has been cancelled as they can not get stock for the item. They should not list items on their website that have no stock and should do better with communication. The onus was always on me to request updates and they just started to ghost me. The information they provided was never accurate. And they didn’t refund my shipping even though this was the only item in my order and I didn’t receive it. Don’t purchase anything through Stockland Marketplace - waste of time. My daughter did not receive the one thing she wanted for her birthday despite me being very organised and ordering it a month before her birthday.
