I responded to an offer from a reputable company that I have been using for many years. It was an offer for a device which I bought and paid for using my bank account and cvc number. I asked for a bank generated confirmation number to secure the
transaction. Immediately I had paid, a second request popped up from my banking requesting the same information. Thinking there had been a fault, I repeated the request. My bank sent a confirmation number and I proceeded. Then I was redirected to two company websites. They thanked me for joining them and confirmed that I had been charged £2.60 and £1.74.
