The mission of ScamAdviser is to protect consumers worldwide from scams. Online scams have become a global epidemic. Consumers worldwide lost an estimated 1 trillion US Dollars. In many countries online scams are the most reported type of crime such as in the UK where 41% of all reported crimes are now related to online fraud and 50% in Singapore.
ScamAdviser helps 7 million consumers every month to check if a website is legit or a possible scam. Each month we scan more than 2 million new sites. We share our data with 100+ partners (law enforcement, consumer authorities, brand protection agencies, cybersecurity firms, financial service providers, etcetera) to improve threat intel, IP infringement identification, and KYC processes.
While we operate largely virtually and globally, we are looking for a candidate in the Netherlands, preferably in the “Randstad”.
We are looking for an experienced all-round manager that can grow our traffic and active users of ScamAdviser, and drive engagement into building up an anti-scam community.

The existing marketing team consists of one social media manager, an editor, and a part-time customer support person, all working remotely. The marketing manager will have to professionalize and slowly expand the team. In principle, the vacancy is for 40 hours per week. 32 or 36 hours is negotiable.
