There is an ongoing scam on Amazon that I'm sure you'll be hesitant to believe, and altho what I'm going to tell you is 100% true and I have no incentive to lie, PLEASE check for yourselves.

The URL for the product is: https://www.amazon[removed by editor]/TrackR-bravo-Bluetooth-Compatible-Generation/dp/B073V7WQ2N/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 A summary of the scam: TrackR is a device that was introduced around 2016 and was intended to work like Tile or AirTag, but poor performance and critically short battery life led to discontinued production, manufacturer going out of business, and apps required for device to function disappearing around August 2022. This device appeared on Amazon, SOLD by Amazon in 2017, and even the very first reviews revealed defects that made the product unsuitable to sell, but AMZ was undaunted. I was well aware of the problems as I had purchased more than a few from the manufacturer in 2016, so when I happened to see them offered on AMZ I was surprised that they were still available. I thought perhaps the app had improved but discovered that it wasn't even available. I hadn't yet noticed that one of the sellers was AMZ, so I thought they would want to know about the scam and contacted customer service using chat because email was no longer an option. I can provide a transcript of that chat, but the short story is that when the AMZ associate finally found the product (and presumably noticed that is was sold by AMZ) the connection immediatly dropped and another associate took over. He said only that he would "forward the feedback to our concerned" and when I asked if I would be notified of the outcome, he dodged by telling me "This is an internal escalation Steven and hence we're unable to notify you." Nothing changed on the AMZ listing, and sales continued as usual, but oddly, OTHER sellers dropped their "Android/iOS compatible" claim. This prompted me to buy (and return) the item from AMZ to make certain that I could post a "tell all" review, which was posted 20 Apr 2022. That was over a year ago, and out of the MANY reviews that have followed mine, every one has awarded just one star. But AMZ remains undaunted, with one one-pack and six four-packs in stock. Their stock has been much lower, so they either lie or are still buying them somewhere. Under item details: "Is Discontinued By Manufacturer - No" Of course, the entire page is one big lie. It's obvious that AMZ knows about this scam, so the only question is, "Did Bezos break bad, or have AMZ employees gone rogue?" You can see my review at the URL above.

They offer a "free" membership, which allows you to create a profile and search other profiles, but unless you upgrade to a paid membership, you can not contact any other member. Also, they use "online emissaries" which are fake profiles created by
