NOT RECCOMMONDED. Extremely Dissatisfied with PayHere Service
I am writing this review with immense frustration and disappointment regarding my experience with PayHere. Our software development company, based in Sri Lanka and duly registered,
decided to integrate PayHere for monthly client payments and as a payment gateway for our various websites and applications. Unfortunately, this decision turned out to be a colossal mistake, and I strongly advise against anyone else wasting their time on this platform.<br />

Three months ago, I initiated the application process with PayHere, thinking that as a leading payment gateway in Sri Lanka, they would be a reliable choice. Little did I know that this would be the beginning of a series of frustrating events that left us without a functional payment gateway.<br />

Firstly, they insisted on having a business registration and a business bank account. Despite having our company registered, we didn't have a bank account at that time, so we promptly created one to meet their requirements. However, every response from PayHere took more than five days, only to inform us that our application had been rejected. This cycle repeated multiple times, each rejection accompanied by vague explanations.<br />

Adding insult to injury, the customer service representatives at the call center washed their hands of the matter, blaming issues on their partner bank and conveniently passing the responsibility. This lack of accountability is unacceptable, especially for a service that claims to be a leader in the industry.<br />
<br />
During these three months, we diligently used their sandbox and integrated the payment gateway into all our apps and websites. Despite our efforts, they continued to reject our application, leaving us with live updates but no operational payment gateway. This has been an absolute nightmare, wasting our time and resources.<br />
<br />
While PayHere may boast a beautiful user interface, the lack of a satisfying customer experience overshadows any aesthetic appeal. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this time-wasting company called PayHere. Thank you for nothing, PayHere!
